3-Year Blogoversary Surprise: This Is Me

Welp, here we go. This is actually the most terrifying post I've uploaded yet. Yay!

Today is Writability's official third birthday! And to celebrate, I decided to do something super special, because it's something I never would have been able to do three years ago.

But now I can. And it still scares me a little. But I've decided to say hi. For real. In person.

Well. On YouTube, anyway.

So for all of you wondering who's behind the book stack, here you go.

This is me.

Oh, and also I redesigned the blog.

And also you have two days left to win awesome critiquerly prizes here.

Hi! It's great to meet you *in person*! You have an awesome blog with lots of cool writing-related stuff every aspiring author needs. Thank you for doing this! Happy blog anniversary again :))

If I were going to RT, I'd definitely say hi. Have fun!

Hi Ava! I think you have a pretty face. Have fun at RT! :-)

I did try very hard to look at your face and also listen, but I think I probably spent too much time trying to look at all the books on your bookshelf instead.

Ava Jae said...

Thanks so much, Patchi! :)

Ava Jae said...

Aw, thank you!! And I will! :)

Fair. Sometimes I can't stop staring at my bookshelves, either.

Loved the video! And yay for being brave! Also, w/out this seeming weird I just want to say you're so cute- you've got pretty eyes, and a nice smile, and I really like your haircut. Hope that wasn't too weird... lol And lastly- are your bookshelves from Target? They look a lot like they ones I have!

Ava Jae said...

Aw, thanks so much, Leandra! It's not weird. :) And yes! My bookshelves are indeed from Target. And I love them.

I am so proud of you..anxiety is something so many of us struggle with. Hope one of these years we can meet face to face!

(and you are stunningly beautiful, just so you know. ~ *says Angela in a hopefully not creepy-or-stalkerish way* )

Angela Ackerman said...

Oh and your bookcase is WAY TOO CLEAN. You are making me look bad. *coughs on dust*

Margarita Morris said...

Well done on making a video and nice to meet you properly!

Ava Jae said...

Thank you so much, Angela! Anxiety is definitely a common issue for writers, but I'm happy to have reached a place where I feel comfortable trying new things including removing the book avatar. And I definitely hope we can meet in person one day! That would be awesome. :)

(Also, thank you so much! That was very sweet (and not creepy). ^_^ )

I maaaayyyybee wiped down my bookshelf for the first time in too long before recording. Maybe.

Ava Jae said...

Thanks, Margarita! It's been really nice saying hi to everyone with my actual face! :)
