I somehow wrote the first 25k words in the first week, but I know I'm going to start slowing down now.
I think you're right though--I've had so much problem with the last two NaNo's because of that feeling of overwhelming "oh gawd I have so much to do." I can sort of feel myself falling into it now since I'm already imagining myself falling behind even though I'm still about 10k words ahead of schedule on most days.
I'll just keep writing at least 2000 words a day >.< One page at a time is how I'm gonna get through this.
25k in the first week! That's awesome! Amazing job! *high-fives*
Definitely keep focused on just today and one page at a time. You can worry about the big picture once the draft is over, but for now, just enjoy the process. :)

Thanks for the advice, Ava :D
Your advice could be applied to so many situations... "Don't look forward, don't look back- just focus on today." Also, I'm in love with your scarf!

With 2,000 words a day you'll be done in no time!
Very true! And thank you! :D
Even though I'm not participating in NaNoWriMo (forever editing), I appreciate your advice! These are some excellent tips. :)
I'm not participating this year for the same reason! High five! lol
At any rate, thanks, Briana! :)
