Really guys, this is such a hugenormous milestone and I can't begin to tell you how happy and grateful I am to all of you, because it wouldn't have happened without your wonderful support.
And so I want to give back. With the biggest giveaway Writability has ever had.
In fact, this giveaway is SO big that I had to split it into TWO giveaways! And today is part one.
Today's giveaway is for WRITERS, because Giveaway Part I is allll about the critiques. We've got everything from a query critique to a full manuscript critique up for grabs (fifteen critiques for fifteen winners in all!), so make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom (hint: the largest critiques are at the bottom of the page)!

Vicki Leigh
Adopted at three-days-old by a construction worker and a stay-at-home mom, Vicki Leigh grew up in a small suburb of Akron, Ohio where she learned to read by the age of four and considered being sent to her room for punishment as an opportunity to dive into another book. By the sixth grade, Vicki penned her first, full-length screenplay. If she couldn’t be a writer, Vicki would be a Hunter (think Dean and Sam Winchester) or a Jedi. Her favorite place on earth is Hogwarts (she refuses to believe it doesn’t exist), and her favorite dreams include solving cases alongside Sherlock Holmes.

I'd love to get some more opinions on my current manuscript, to see what's working and what's not.
Awesome! Good luck! :)
Thank you for doing this! :)
Thank you to all of the generous folks participating in this giveaway! I did a huge rewrite of my manuscript and since my CPs have read the book several times, I was hoping to get fresh eyes on it. Good luck to everyone who entered!
I would love to get some more opinions on my query and/or first few pages of my MS! Hoping to get them as shiny as possible!
Thank you so much for this great giveaway! The writing community is truly awesome :)
Sounds great! Thanks for entering, Julie, and good luck! :)
Shiny pages are the best kind of pages! Good luck, Alex!
You're very welcome, Brian! Right before querying is a great time to get an extra critique in. Good luck! :)
Thank you so much for the giveaway! I would use the query critique to help me on my querying journey <3
You're very welcome! Query critiques are awesome—good luck!
:)
Congrats on 1 million! What an awesome celebration :D
I would use this critique on the YA Fantasy I started querying, just in case the MS is not quite there.
Congrats on the million views! I would use the critique for my romance WIP. A fresh set of eyes always helps!
Congrats! And thanks for this awesome giveaway!
Wow, one million views is awesome! Congratulations! I would use the critique on my YA fantasy about dragons. :)
Yay for your success! And thanks for so many great giveaways! Does Feedly count for subscribing to Writability?
Thank you so much! On both counts! :D
Awesome! Good luck, Patchi!
Thank you so much! And I totally agree—a fresh set of eyes definitely is helpful at all stages. :)
Thank you! And you're welcome! :)
Ooops! And I would use any of these critiques towards the MS I'm finishing my revisions on TONIGHT.
Thank you so much, Brett! Good luck!
Thank you so much! And you're very welcome! And...sure! Feedly sounds good to me. That totally counts. :)
Tonight! Well then, good luck with your revisions as well as the giveaway!! :D
And huge congratulations on the million views! (I can't believe I forgot to add that to my comment *face slap*)
lol! No worries. Thank you! :)
I have a manuscript that is right up Ava's alley. It's been pitched, rejected, pitched and rejected but I'm confident there's something there. I bring chapter after chapter to my writer's group for continued critique as I continue to develop the characters and story further. I'd love to hear her opinion.
I'm in the same boat as SJ Mitchell below. I love the characters and story, agents and editors like it, but.....
Apparently I need to figure out why it gets no "love".
I'm so close to the perfect tweak of my query and first page. I can almost taste it!! I have a middle grade mystery. If other people never get to know my characters I think I might implode.
This is awesome, finding critiques like this is hard to come buy (especially if you don't have the money to pay for them and have exhausted all you CP's) Excited!
Wowza, thanks Writability for this great giveaway! I'm working on a Middle Grade mystery, been told by agents I've got a pacing issue. I'd LOVE another set of eyes!
Congrats! It's been kinda crazy watching you go from querying writer to represented writer. I'm willing to bet that it always feels like there's more to come, more work to do, but I'm glad you're taking the time to celebrate how far you've made it! Congrats!
Wow, this is awesome. Congrats!
I would use the edits on either my MG fantasy adventure or on my steampunk.
Congratulations!! And THANKS for the great giveaway opportunities!! I would loooooooove to have a fresh set of eyes on my YA light fantasy novel. I'm in revisions/re-writes and driving myself a little batty with it! Need. Fresh. Eyes.
This an amazing giveaway! Thank so much for doing this and congrats on the page views!
Thanks you for this! How amazing. I'd use it for my Dark Fantasy MG, that I'm querying now!
Oh my goodness, congratulations! 1,000,000 pageviews is an incredible accomplishment--I'm so happy for you!
And these giveaways are awesome! I'd like to enter, but I'm currently working on the first draft of a manuscript that I probably won't want to have critiqued until after revisions, whenever that may be. So, probably best if I don't enter now--I wouldn't want to keep someone waiting on me. But thank you so much, anyway, to everyone for these generous prizes...and good luck to all who are entering!
How exciting! Congratulations!! This is one of my favorite writing blogs, so it's incredibly awesome to hear about your success!
Thank you so much for running this, and for offering such amazing prizes. I'd use the critique for my YA contemp.
This giveaway is amazing! Congratulations on 1,000,000 page views! This is a major milestone! Here's to 1,000,000 more! I would love anything for this year's NaNo Novel, a YA Fantasy called Heavenly Death!
1 Million page views is amazing! I feel like my manuscript is sooo close to being *there,* so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a full ms critique!
I've never seen a giveaway this full of a awesomeness. Love how you give and give to the writing community. So blown away! <3
Congrats on the milestone! Thanks for the giveaways! If rafflecopter chose me I'd have the ms I'm currently querying looked at again.
That's really tough, and I commend you for not giving up! I've definitely been in that situation and it's not easy. I wish you all the best and good luck with the giveaway!
As I said to SJ Mitchell, that's a tough situation (but I think not an uncommon one) that I can definitely relate to. Good luck with both the giveaway and your MS!
Oh, excellent! Good for you for taking the time to get your query and first pages right. :) Good luck!
I'm glad you're excited! Good luck!
You're so welcome! Thanks for entering, and good luck!
Thanks so much, Sarah! It's been kinda crazy going through the process myself. :) And you're right—it definitely feels like there's always more to do and more goals to achieve, but I think it's super important to take stock of what you've accomplished along the way and not lose sight of that. :)
Thanks! :)
Awesome! Good luck!
Thank you! And you're welcome! Fresh eyes always help. :) Good luck!
You're so welcome! And thank you! Good luck!
You're welcome! And that sounds great—good luck!

Thank you so much, Kailey! Good luck!
Thank you! And that's so great—good luck, Marika!
Thank you so so much, Kimberly! I'm blown away by how many people stepped up and volunteered. Couldn't have put this together without my awesome donors. :)
Thanks, Paige! And you're welcome! Good luck with the giveaway!
What a great opportunity. Expert critiques are hard to come by (that you don't have to pay for) I can think of nothing more valuable. Thank you authors for doing this!
This would be so perfect since I'm finishing up a manuscript! Hoping for some luck!
I am so excited about this!! Going to use it for my current WIP!
Thanks, keeping my fingers crossed...well, except when I'm at the keyboard ;)
WOW!! So many great prizes here!! I am crossing my fingers. Pick me Rafflecopter. And a big congrats on the milestone Ava Jae!!
Congrats on reaching 1 million views, and thanks for putting together such great prizes!
This is so great for an aspiring author like myself. Quick question, am I supposed to share a page or two of my work so far or do we save that for the winners? I could surely use some feedback! Thank you!!!
Thanks so much for doing this and congratulations on 1 000 000 views. I'd love this for the YA Fantasy I'm polishing at present!
Congrats on the pageviews and thanks!
Hi Teshia! You don't need to share anything. If you win, you'll get directions on what to send where. :) Good luck!
I love the writing community. It's been so great seeing how many people volunteered to help make this awesome. :)
Awesome! Good luck!
Yay! Good luck!
I agreeeee! Good luck, Kelly! And thank you! :)
Thank you so much! And you're very welcome! Good luck! :)
You're so welcome! And thank you! Sounds great—good luck! :)
Thank you! And you're very welcome! Good luck!
I have been actively querying agents for a few months now and would benefit greatly from either a query critique or MS critique. It's a new adult romance. Yes, that's right. Cross-breed genre. Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
I don't know that NA Romance is cross-breed per say–it's actually pretty popular! (I happen to love NA). :)
Good luck with your querying and with the giveaway!
What a great giveaway!!!! Excited to see the winners! Thank you everyone for doing this!
Thanks for doing the giveaway! This will be such a great tool for those that win!
I'm getting ready to query my NA romance sometime in the new year. Thanks for this timely giveaway, Ava Jae. Congratulations on 1,000,000 views!
If I win I'll be using the Query critique or MS critique on my MG book The State of Dreams which follows thirteen-year-old Basil Benton and his talkative little sister Katheryn through a world where their dreams are physically manufactured - but getting home won't be that easy when they realize their missing parents were also spotted in the Dreamscape. Basil will have to face his darkest Shadows and paralyzing nightmares in order to find his parents, protect his sister, and get back home.
If I win I'll use the critique(s) for my YA high fantasy, Kevara. I'm very close to finishing, and am looking for a few more readers for final suggestions. Thanks for these giveaway opportunities!
Congratulations and thank you for this massively awesome giveaway! I would use it for my Fantasy YA.
You're welcome! And thanks, I did check it out--you've got a great lineup. :) Thanks so much for hosting!
This might be the best thing I have seen anyone do in a long time. Thanks so much for this opportunity.
You're very welcome! Good luck! :)
Thank you! I'm excited to see the winners, too! Good luck! :)
You're very welcome! I do love helping writers. :)
That timing works especially well, then! You're very welcome, Jillian, and thank you! Good luck!

This is so wonderful! Congratulations on hitting such an impressive milestone! I would use these critiques for my contemporary YA MS!
Congratulations on this amazing milestone! And thank you for holding such an amazing contest :-)
Thanks to you all for this amazing giveaway and your support of other writers - if I won a ms critique I'd use it for my contemp YA, Devil Springs about a 17 yr old in a rural town in FL and her religiously zealous (crazy) grandmother.
You're very welcome! And yay for YA Fantasy! Good luck!
Thank you so much! Good luck! :)
Thank you!! And you're welcome! :)

I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you so much, and good luck with the giveaway! :)
Wow, this is so amazing!! As a YA writer and (brand new, social-media-challenged) blogger, it's awesome to see how Ava Jae uses her blog to give back to the writing community. Thanks Ava, and congratulations on 1 million hits!! :-)
I had heart palpitations when I saw this - wanted to skip university classes to get back home and access my computer (but I didn't because I need to pass lol). Really awesome - thank you so much for this!!!
I would use this on the Adult Paranormal Mystery manuscript I'm currently editing with more 'voice'.
Oh, and congratulations on the 1 million hits!!! :)
