I agree that you can learn from teaching things, but I think you need to have a relatively solid foundation in something before you can teach it (at least, teach it accurately, that is).<br /><br />That being said, I've definitely learned a lot through blogging, and I think by writing down my thoughts, I've helped clarify some things in my head, which was a form of teaching myself? But I wouldn't be able to write a post about something I knew nothing about.
